4 months!

Weight: 14lb 2.2oz (51st percentile)

Height: 23in (5th percentile) the doctor commented on this but said she wasn't concerned. she said now that her weight is good she'll start growing lengthwise more. i feel like shes getting alot taller tho bc her 6 month sleepers are starting to fit!

Head Circumference: 42cm (88 percentile!!) big heads totally run in the family

Size Clothing: Switched to 6 month sleepers. She wears 3-6 month clothing. The sleeves are alittle too long. For pants she still fits in 0-3 and 3 month sizes since her legs are so short!

Milestones: I feel like she had a big mental growth spurt the last week of this month. Starting last weekend she started holding toys (or my hair!!) in her hands and putting the toys in her mouth. She also started laughing! Daddy makes her laugh the most! She's also starting to find her tongue, she's sticking it out all the time now.

Bathtime Fun!

She's rolled over from tummy to back 4 times now. She doesn't seem interested in going the other way though as when she's on her back she doesn't move much. Her head is a lot less wobbly now and doesn't fall all of a sudden anymore.

Schedule: Our schedule is the same as 2 month except she naps a tiny bit less. She started this witching hour the last month and at about 6pm she cries/fusses for an hour. The only way to avoid this is to go out of the house shopping (girl loves target!) or to  get her to catnap, which has been hard these days!

Sleep: Her night sleep hasn't changed. She's still sleeping through the night for about 11-12 hours. On days at home she naps about 5-6 hours. She did start daycare two weeks ago. Her naps are of course worse there but she still sleeps relatively well which is all i can hope for. She sleeps about 3-4 hours in about 4 naps. Not the best but I think thats the best I can expect.

Her favorite things: She loves the winkel, i think because its easy to hold. She does NOT like her pacifier anymore. She always pushes it out with her tongue. I guess the days of instant silence are gone (haha that sounds terrible, but I hope you know what I mean). We got her the rainforest jumperoo and I think she likes it. She likes being in the upright position and she looks really comfortable in there. But she doesn't play with any of the toys. She'll look at the lights but thats about it. She's starting to love bathtime more. It's easy to get her to smile in there and she's always kicking her legs. She likes being held in a sitting position now versus laying in our arms. She'll fuss until we put her upright. She mostly loves the voices we make at her, that makes her smile and laugh!

Tummy time!

Love her gummy smile
