9 months

Weight: 18lb 13oz (61 percentile)

Height: 26.75in (18 percentile)

Head Circumference: 45.3cm (86 percentile)

Pretty much stayed at the same percentiles as 6 month but alittle taller!

Size Clothing: No change since last month. She's wearing 9 month and 6-12 month clothing. Her growth has definitely slowed down the past couple months. Can't believe I'll soon be looking into toddler clothing.

Getting closer to pulling up!

Milestones: She's still army crawling with no real signs of regular crawling. She's able to sit up by herself . She hasn't pulled up completely. She can go from sitting to her knees and from an elevated sitting position (like on my lap) to standing, but hasn't done a full sit to stand. She's doing alot of downward dog lately so i know she wants to stand. She also learned No (shakes her head when she doesn't want something) and learned how to clap. Can't wait til she learns how to kiss. not so great milestone is she's def going through a separation anxiety phase. its not very bad, but when someone she doesn't know holds her she gives her cry face, and if we don't get her then eventually she ends up crying. so sad. hope this phase passes soon! she's such a ham when shes around new people, just not when they're holding her or if mom and dad walk away.

First bento!

Food: She has been eating 3 solid meals a day. We've pretty much stopped all purees. She got sick in the beginning of the month and did not have much of an appetite. After she got better all she wanted were finger foods. so now we're doing 3 meals of finger foods. i actually like this better than purees because she seems to love eating alot more than before! she's mastered the pincer grasp so is able to feed herself completely. She's also started taking the straw cup better so she drinks about 1-2 oz a day from it which is much better than 1 sip a day just a couple weeks ago! so far her favorite foods are breakfast sausage, pasta, bread and cheese. she doesn't mind veggies but usually eats them last. she does not like fruit right now! im not sure if its the texture or the taste but she doesn't really eat any fruit i offer. working on that...

Typical day at home!

Schedule: She is still between 2 and 3 naps a day altho more 2 nap days this month than last. A typical day at home looks like this -
7am - wakeup, 6.5 oz bottle
8am - cheese, bread, fruit (usually doesn't eat much), straw cup of milk or water
9-11am - nap!
11am - 6.5oz bottle
12pm - veggies, meat, cheese, pasta, straw cup of milk or water
1-3pm - nap!
3pm - ~7oz bottle
5pm ish - catnap sometimes
6pm - dinner veggies, meat, cheese, straw cup of milk or water
7pm - ~7oz bottle, bath, brush teeth, sleep!

the naps at home usually range from 1.5hr to 3 hours. On day care days her naps are usually 30-45 min 3 times a day

Sleep: she's still STTN. she did have two nights where she woke up in the middle of the night when she was sick :-( some tylenol made her better and she passed out again. we also had two instances where we had to drive an hour + after her bed time for wedding/birthday and she transferred from the car to her crib well. she did cry in the car tho for about 15 min on one trip. but once she was in bed she was good. her naps have been good altho somedays it's as short as 1 hour. i miss the days where it was consistently 2 hours. usually it's at least 1.5 hours tho. a few days it was 2.5+ hours. she's a good sleeper tho and we are thankful. she's been sleeping in til 7am (when i usually get her anyway) so its been great.

She loves being on daddy's shoulders!

Her favorite things: She loves finger foods! which also means she loves putting anything else in her mouth too :-/ she loves making people laugh with her cheese face and her clapping. she loves getting read to. one book (moo, baa, lalala) she always laughs at the end as if she knows what i'm saying. she loves going on walks with her daddy and dogs. she still loves mum mums, puffs, and yogurt melts. singing the wheels on the bus and abc song usually calms her down.
Movie at the park!

Love this new face, not sure what it is but its cute!

Her first fever/ear infection :-(

But shes okay after Tylenol!!
